Paulus Schafer & Dominique Paats
Based on their personal musical background, Paulus Schäfer's Gypsy jazz and the strongly French-oriented accordion music of Dominique Paats, these 2 virtuosos have managed to merge their styles into a great music style. Swinging grooves and beautiful melodies from musicals and films, among others, result in a particularly nice music style and a performance by this duo is certainly a great musical celebration.
The duo has been playing together for many years and recently completed a very successful theater tour in the Netherlands. Both are masters of their instruments and have phenomenal improvisation skills. They constantly challenge each other, and their style is a wonderful mix of Gypsy swing, modern jazz, Latin and French chansons.
