Stochelo Rosenberg - Part I is more than a biography. It not only describes the different aspects of his life and music and the culture he grows up in, but also the meaning and influence of Django Reinhardt. Furthermore, a chapter devoted to the Selmer Guitar Luthier of Mario Maccaferri and the construction of the Stochelo Rosenberg signature model guitar by guitarbuilder Leo Eimers. This beautifully designed book contains many good quality photographs of the entire life of Stochelo Rosenberg. There are special moments captured, and performances such as his meeting with the famous violinist Stephane Grappelli.
The last part of the book includes transcriptions of five compositions of Stochelo Rosenberg. A Cd of these compositions is included. The CD shows the amazing talent of Stochelo Rosenberg.
